Biography
Dr. Wallead Al-Jaeafee expertise includes the management of disc disorders, spinal fractures, scoliosis, tumors, and degenerative spine conditions. With extensive surgical experience and a patient-centered approach, he combines advanced surgical precision with modern techniques such as MAGEC rods for pediatric scoliosis and minimally invasive procedures for faster recovery.
He currently practices at Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, where he leads outpatient clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Wallead is actively involved in teaching and research, dedicated to advancing spine health and improving patient outcomes.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Dr. Wallead Al-Jaeafee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon with broad international experience in the Middle East and Europe. Since 2024, he has been practicing at Al-Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah (Emirates Health Services), where he provides full spine care, including endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as emergency and elective procedures. Before moving to the UAE, he worked as a consultant at Al Emadi Hospital in Doha, Qatar (2020–2024), and previously held senior consultant and specialist positions in leading hospitals across Germany, including Helios See Hospital Sahlenburg, Prosper-Hospital Recklinghausen, Auguste-Viktoria-Klinik Bad Oeynhausen, and Klinikum Herford. His early training included residency posts in Germany and Yemen, which built the foundation for his extensive expertise in spine and trauma surgery.
HIGHER EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Dr. Wallead Al-Jaeafee earned his medical degree (MBBS) from Sana’a University in 2006. He became German Board certified in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in 2013 and obtained the Fellowship of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT) in 2014. He further specialized in spine surgery with international certifications, including the EuroSpine Diploma (2017) and the Master Certificate in Spine Surgery from the German Society of Spine Surgery (DWG) in 2019. These achievements reflect his extensive academic and clinical training, underpinning his expertise in advanced and minimally invasive spine surgery.
